I dropped a class today which dropped me below the minimum hours (12) to be considered a full-time student. I bought season tickets before the season started. Does anyone know if my ID will still allow me to get through the student gate for the Alabama game or do I need to use somebody else's LSU ID? It would be awful to miss this game so please help if you know how the system works.

I promise to stay the entire game if I can get in.

I'm pretty sure you can't get in.

I stayed a full-time student one time just so I could get tickets for the national championship game against Alabama once.

That didn't work out.

It's called the "Student Section" not "Full Time Student Section", Einstein

There are also stipulations to get in, genius. The only way you can get in with under full time hours if you only need part time hours to graduate. I took 3 hours in Fall of 2011 to finish my degree, and was able to use student tickets.

Being a full time student means you paid more money for the semester. My guess is they care more about that then how many hours you finish with.

This comment is full of fail.
No OP, you cannot get in.

Your best bet it so sell your Bama student ticket for as much as you can, and then go buy a single NEZ ticket.

This.

I didn't know this rule so I scheduled an extra class so I would be at 12 hours in my final semester. I ended up dropping a class and fell below full-time but was still able to use my ID to go to the Bama game.

Well that's news to me. Sucks for you OP. That's crap if you bought season tix and cant use them even though you're technically still a student and paid full tuition

No it isn't. Student tickets are a privilege for students that maintain their grades. All you have to do is be in 4 classes and maintain a 2.0. It's not some super achievement.

You can get in. I got in last week without even using my student ID. Just showed them that my drivers license matched the name on the ticket

I was in school from 05-11. The rule then was that you had to be a full time student at the time of the event in order to get in. I actually had experience with this multiple times. The funny thing is that it may let you in and it may not. I believe the deal is that the system has to be updated every so often with who is full time and who is part time. It doesn't automatically update the moment that you drop to part time. So there really is no way of knowing what it will say when your ID is scanned. I believe that I got in to a football game after dropping to 9 hours one semester but I also got denied at a basketball game after doing the same thing.
