As I have heard before, student section is rapidly becoming a "thing of the past". Objective of the Athletic Dept is that there will actually be NO student section within the next year or two, or so I hear from those in the AD.
Hope it's not true, but Juniors and Seniors really don't give a shite!

I happen to be 'in the know' enough to know that this will never happen. It is however possible (and even often discussed) that the SS could be reduced in size by a little. It is easy for the Ath. Dept. to justify it b/c of the amount of no-shows from the tickets the students get.
If I don't show up to the game, the Ath dept still gets the $45 plus surcharge. They only lose on potential concessions. If a student seat is empty that is money they are losing (in their eyes) cause they could have sold it to someone willing to pay more.

Raz - I learned that chant on my first road trip as a student... Ole Miss 96. I haven't heard it since.
p.s. the original version is to 'flunk the damn exams' but you can imagine it didnt take long for that to change.
