Scrimmage was 1's vs 2's. Wouldn't put much stock into anyone's performance. Guice looked beastly

Word is this could be the best run blocking o-line in several years according to 247. If so look out. If this line can continue to get better and create holes for our number of athletic backs, Harris should have a lot of pressure taken off his shoulders. I believe that if we can start the season off strong running the football, then I believe Harris progresses nicely and we have a great chance at getting through those first 2 SEC games with a W

The line will be nasty. I know we have a ton of playmakers and everyone is excited about all the new guys but I still want to see Fournette with 25-30 touches a game

The offensive line can be the greatest of all time but if there is no real threat of a passing game, running game will only take it so far. 5 or 6 guys on the line won't stack up against 8 or 9 in the box.

Agreed. This will be a major factor on how this season turns out. Les knows he has a thoroughbred and I hope he will ride him all the way to Atlanta

Anymore games with 8 or 9 touches makes me sick thinking about what he could do with a full workload

I flew my drone over the scrimmage and got a really nice video of the action. I'm editing right now and need to leave this thread so I can finish edit and post to youtube.

Why give him any more than necessary to beat the likes of McNeese, EMU and Syracuse?

I expect the QB play to be better than last year, but to expect perfection from Harris early on is just setting yourself up for disappointment...he's still in development stage 2...there will be flashes of brilliance and some mistakes....it's a learning process...he is still young and virtually untested...if the OL and D stay healthy, we're going to have a good and exciting season...
