How did I miss this? He moved to DE and had tackle for loss.

Step Sullivan DE

well damn. much respect to Sullivan for succeeding despite that.

I knew the Seahawks needed help on defense but damn, getting playing time in the NFL after recently switching from offense to defense has to be pretty rare. I’m happy for Sullivan

He was approached to move to defense while in college IIRC, but wanted to stay on offense.

It's different in the league where you can go from practice squad pay check to NFL game check by being a little more flexible in where you step on the field.

Good for him now, I just wonder if he made the move earlier what his potential draft earnings could have been?

The Stephen Sullivan play I always remember is the 4th down against Auburn in 2017 when he scored a rushing TD.

thats awesome, i got trashed on this board for saying he ought to think about moving there... he had the good first step and was quick for his size.. i just questioned the strength... lots of money made at that position

If he played DE in the NFL he would get flagged for a low hit Roughing the Passer every time he had a successful pass rush.

Great to see young players like Sullivan be successful when you see so many other athletes fail to appreciate what they have.
