The station you want is Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station on the East/West line.

Even though the Dome no longer exists, and Philips Arena is no longer Philips Arena, the Atlanta City Council is too damned inept to get the name of the MARTA station changed.

We did the second stop from five points. It’s called the Vine station. It takes you to the west side of the stadium and you walk up and around a ramp right into the entrance of the stadium. We stayed in Buckhead. The first stop is the MB stadium stop which is the dicier East side of the stadium but where centennial park is. West side is easier and not crowded.

For SEC championship game we stayed at Westin next to Buckhead station. We took marta to five points you get off then people direct you. We skipped stop for MB stadium and went to the second stop called VINE. It was right at the west side of stadium and the stop many GA fans took.

I got a cheap AirBnb East Atlanta/Inman park area next to a Marta Station for SECCG, super quick and convenient. No driving.

We stayed at the Westin next to Lenox mall in Buckhead next to W. So many restaurants to walk too. The marta ride was fun with fans from both teams. Go to the Vine stop on west side of MB stadium

We’re staying there for the Peach Bowl. Getting there Friday afternoon. Were there bars/restaurants in walking distance. Any recommendations?

Also looking for after the LSU game to watch the next one, any bars you stumbled across that would be good to hang out, eat and watch in walking distance? Thanks

the West side of the stadium is by far the dicier side of the city. Rough area.

But the Vine City MARTA stop should be fine - it's right across the street from the Benz and should be less crowded.

Establishment is literally right next door. The LSU alumni association had it as one of the designated LSU bars for the SEC Championship. The Nook is also close by too and there's a ton of great restaurants in midtown.

if you are young and want to hit the bars friday and after... I've heard Buckhead is the place to stay. That's where we will be
