I think CPM is already on record that Hess is replaceable on Friday.

My guess is 1 or 2 more bad outings & Hess is back to closer. CPM isn't a moron.

3 is enough for me especially when 2 of the outings were against very inferior teams. If he has a bad outing tomorrow then I’d definitely be done with him as a starter

people act like someone else in this staff has pitched well enough to take Hess out of that spot. He has not been great but until someone else steps up why would you change it now. You don’t really need him in the bullpen at the moment.

I like him starting Tuesday on the road with the hope he starts on Sunday but I don't agree with taking Marceaux out of the rotation.
He had one miserable inning but he's going to be one of the workhorses.
