I just don’t see it. Hilliard, Walker, and Marceaux. INo way these three guys can be SEC starters. Hilliard good from the bullpen, Walker not close to pre Tommy John and Marceaux well I don’t understand all the hype! Don’t get me started on the hitting of this team missing straight down the heart of the plate fastballs.

We are just a very inconsistent team, that has dealt with an ungodly amount of injuries. We clearly were never close to the best baseball team in the country. All the preseason hype was extremely far off. Paul was great in his time, but it’s time to move on.

know I'll be down voted for this, but... I saw Marceaux pitch throughout high school, and even though he was on a USA team and has been injured, and I know he's trying his best, I never thought he was a SEC caliber starting pitcher... sorry

Henry is the only legit starter. Storz and/or Henry may be as well. Walker,Hilliard,Marceaux are middle relief guys.

Biggest problem is we have the pen but have to hit and get there. 7-0 and 5-1 shouldn’t stop guys from hitting. I’m not giving up on this team yet! Maybe in June when we are getting ready for football season.

Hitting and timely hitting are killing us.
The pitching staff has had a ton of injuries but the hitting isn’t picking the team up.
We either score a ton or hardly any. This team needs some leaders and an identity.
Right now they lack that. IMO
But yes we arent getting it done on the mound either. Without the injuries this team would be more competitive for sure.

Yall keep hyping up Hill but the dude is gonna be a freshman coming off an arm injury. I'm sure he will have a great career but I wouldnt count on him saving this season. Sure he looked good but hes only pitched in 2 collegiate games and remember he wasnt as hyped up as Marceaux.

I just don’t get how these pitches can’t develop a third pitch? Most have at least two coming out of high school but at LSU they can’t develop a change up by their Junior year. It has frustrated me for the past couple of years but come on your assistant is the guru of pitching coaches and you can’t get them to consistently develop a change up at this level?
