My DL rotation predictions.

SDE - Justin Thomas; Ali Gay; J. Cherry.
3T - Neil Farrell; Glen Logan; Nelson Jenkins/J. Roy/Eric Taylor.
1T - Tyler Shelvin; Siaka Iki; J. Guillory.
WDE - TK McClendon; Andre Anthony; Trevaz Moore; B J.

This is what I think that the Base D will look like.

Situational defensive fronts like obvious pass rusher and goal line defense I expect to be different.

Goal line I would not be surprised to see

SDE - Ferrell/Logan
3T - Siaka Ika
1T - Tyler Shelvin
WDE - Justin Thomas/T.K.

Pass Rush could go a lot of ways.

Ray Thornton?

Per Bo Pelini, Ray Thornton will be a backup middle linebacker this season.

A short yardage D with both Shelvin and Ika won't allow an inch up the middle of the field!

Dear Lord, the depth. Not having a full spring and changing DCs and moving from a 3-4 to a 4-3 sucks for evaluation for both the coaches and kids. Probably would have been a few guys transferring after figuring out where they fell after spring.

On the other hand, this does give everybody another chance and a little longer to get in (better) shape to maybe even the playing field. It’ll be obvious who has worked the hardest by themselves during the virus situation. Still, it’ll be tough for the coaches to figure out a rotation just in fall camp. Probably be tinkering through end of October (assuming season starts on schedule, of course). What a great “problem” to have.

Glen Logan starts as a soph and a jr but, not as a sr??? Don't see that happening.
