What are they saying on tv? Do we have an idea of a roundabout time?

Their guess would be just as good as anybody else watching the game. How would the announcers know if this last inning will last 10 minutes or 45 minutes?

You don't see it that much in baseball, not even in the NCAA tourney. We usually only see it in Hoover, or some midweek games.

10 run rule doesn't apply to regular season. La Tech was up 11-1 in the 8th in a mid week game recently. State beat SC 24-7 last weekend.

It can apply to midweek games if discussed before.
