Love JL, but that ship has sailed. I'm just glad he's there if we need him.

I can see the OP's Point. I don't think he was intending this as a Lee deserves to start over JJ. JJ gives us the best chance to Beat Bama in the NC. We can beat Georgia by 25pts with either JL or JJ, so why not make sure you don't do anything to get JJ seriously injured in this game. With how many times a game he runs, this is always a possibility.

For those saying we have to win, you don't believe JL can whip Georgia just like the 1st 9 games.

I do believe the less we leave JJ out there to get hit is better as we all saw we will need him to stretch BAMA out.

Just to keep JJ healthy for Jan. 9th? Please don't bash about how Lee should be starting anyways, because Miles won't do that anyway.

This is the SEC championship game.

What other positions do you advocate changing the starter at to avoid injuries in the SEC championship game?

I agree with this a ton! I have been pro-Lee all along, but we need JJ healthy if we get Bama on 1/9. Let Lee handle the Dogs, JJ gets a couple of series to stay loose, then go get that crystal ball!

JJ still needs the reps. Play him until the game is out of reach.

What about all of the backs? O- line and D-line? Should we also rear Reid, TM 7 etc? No - we go all out because this is the SEC championship. Baring a significant injury, LSU will get plenty of rest before NC game.
