Just because Stanfield is a nice guy doesn’t make him better at baseball than he is. He wasn’t drafted for a reason.

Dude, you’re a miserable fricker. LSU isn’t the top team in the country without Stanfield last year. He performed well when needed and was as consistent as anyone we had.

Where do you people come from. Jay Johnson believes in the guy and that’s all that matters anyway.

Hell there were more than a few people that wanted Jay fired and compared him to Orgeron what’s your point

You're going pretty hard after Stanfield considering the way some others performed.

No he’s not. He made a mild criticism of Stanfield (which was correct, imo) and other posters went hard after HIM. He’s just defending himself.

There was really no need for him to state his opinion. It’s incorrect and insignificant.

Oh shite, definitely not on a sports message board.

The strawmen ITT are amazing

Braswell was objectively a liability at the plate. I don’t think that’s an unfair statement. We also don’t win a national title without him. See how that works?

But no, Stanfieldwas not as consistent as anyone we had. And yes he had some clutch moments down the stretch. I’ve already said as much in here

Oh wow. I guess stating opinions on a message board are out of bounds

Yeah, everyone is allowed to share their opinion here. It doesn’t mean their opinion won’t be judged. The thread is about one of the best players from 2025 returning in 2026.
He said a baseball player who hit .300 was inconsistent. It’s a dumb fricking opinion.

I said he was inconsistent “down the stretch” in response to someone who said he was “consistent down the stretch” because he was inconsistent “down the stretch.” I literally provided his numbers “down the stretch.” Sorry if objectivity hurts your feelings. His batting average dropped like 70 points in the last month. That’s not consistent “down the stretch”

Never said it was out of bounds, it just says a lot about you when a huge piece announces his return for next season and all you can contribute to the thread is shitting on the guy

That you can state opinions about players and not be calling them worthless, like the strawman dumb frick tried to construct
