Did not get all I wanted for Oregon game and just bought 4 SRO for the game through the LSU ticket office. Has anyone ever used these and are they a rip off?

I've heard its not bad if you can get up front because they cram people in that area. Just what i've heard though...first time going.

Yes total rip off from what some around here have said. Besides, uppers will be going for face or less in the weeks leading up to the game.

Why not start a thread before you buy the tix?

Went to the saints cowboys thanksgiving game with them and we got there before the gates opened and as long as you get in front and send one person out at a time you'll be fine also introduce yourself to the security and they will keep people off your back

Be careful of the fire marshals on partol watching regardless of whether you have a ticket or not. Once they get a certain number of people in that standing area only, they will close you out and not let you in due to the number of people whether you have a ticket in hand or not. It can be a rip off.

SRO is great if you are not standing behind people standing in their seats the whole game. Go when the gates open and position yourself in the front row of SRO in a section that you can guess will not be standing much (such as the Oregon section)

Are the SRO tickets only available to season ticket holders? They don't have them available online.

Why would anybody in their right mind purchase such nonsense ? Jostling for "position" all game just to get a possible peak of the playing field ? It would be FAR WISER to wait till a couple of days prior to kickoff or even just try going out to the stadium than buying a sure piece of crap ticket ! Some of you people amaze me !

i found the SRO spaces to be better than the upper deck for the Cotton Bowl as long as you were in the front row standing and NOT behind an Aggie section as they stand the whole game

We had SRO tickets for the Saints game and had a blast. You're right next to the bathrooms, beer booths, and concession stands. Could not see the field but the big screen makes up for it. If you're a smoker you can walk outside and see the game on the TV's outside.
