re: Can the gameday atmosphere be fixed?
Posted by stone13 on 10/4/21 at 5:12 pm to TexasTiger08
Let me start out by saying I am one of the old ones. I have had good seats in Sec 303 since 1982. I stay till the end of games as I did during Curley and Dinardo years. The food is not the problem as it has always sucked. Music is not the problem because it is not why I go to games. Everything evolves and the music will again change in a few years. Students have always left early to go party. The problem is that they have shut off so many of the areas for tailgaiting. The cost has become prohibitive to get close and the atmosphere is not the same.
Baseball Medical Staff

Are we getting the best care for out players. Just an observation but it seems we are way behind on recovery times. Saints had to jettison their staff. Foremost ortho surgeon in South is LSU grad. Send players to Birmingham for consults. Just wondering if others question treatment and recovery?
While I think my TIGERS have taken a left at the crossroad with the hiring of O, I have supported by purchasing tickets for 36 years. With his choice of offensive coordinator, I am through going under this regime.
Have great seats in section 303 that I won't be using as long as this is allowed to go on.
I was proud of the crowd. I have sat in 303 for 35 years and it was a hard day. After the intro of championship team I went into concourse and there were hundreds sitting on ramps trying to get heat relief. After a few defensive stands, it got pretty damned loud so I am proud of that group. Ole Miss was down a third at start.

Cox outage in some areas. Hundred Oaks / Westdale Heights I know is affected.

Aussie diagnosed with Lymphoma. Would have survived with treatments several years if had been type B or T. Test came back as null cell with a life expectancy of 30 days sans treatment and 6 months with. I was not ready for to say goodbye so we did treatment and she lived 9 months till I put her down. Never felt bad or missed a meal till the day she did not want to go for a walk and we said enough. Don't recommend treatment for anyone else but it gave me more time with her and she was great till the end.
I have 2012 Silverado with 190K that has never been in shop except routine maintence. It is company truck. Personal truck is 2005 F150 with 130K. Had to replace a few parts on front end due to grease drying out from not driving regularly. With todays oils all motors should last 200K with regular maintenance.
re: My grandmother was put on hospice today

My Mother went into hospice care in June and lived 6 days. We had her at home and they were great. Medicare will pay for Hospice for a year if necessary although it is usually a few week. If it is at home they do not provide 24 hour coverage so we brought sitters in to aid family at our cost. But all medicines, equipment, is covered. Nurses came out every morning and were on call round the clock. In a very difficult time they were a bright spot. Lot of different agencies provide this service so do your homework on picking one and for us it was a recommendation by the hospital that we went with. We had the option of leaving her at hospital under their care but she wanted to go home and we provided that option.

Let's let him coach a game or two. Lou Tepper came in with the same credentials.

Staying in Port Washington and fishing Lake Michigan Friday. Catching shuttle to game at 8:00 Saturday for game.
1984 Ping I2's. Have newer but always go back to these. It's like a good pair of boots. Hard to quit them.

Should not feel this way but hopes he takes his baby mommy and kids with him. Have zero interest in our tax dollars supporting his offspring.

I love LSU and Baton Rouge. We have multitudes of problems but once you have lived here a few years the good seems to out weigh the bad. I moved here 31 years ago and bought a house and still live in that house. Most people only visit LSU for events or class. It is very soothing to just walk around campus early on a weekend morning visiting Mike and other sites. You can feel the stress and tension of the week melt away.
Enterprise rents a lot of them out of their Gonzales location.
1. Turn Florida Blvd from downtown to Denham into a thruway with overpasses and no lights with frontage roads. This gets a lot of cars from downtown without them traveling through the I110 / I10 zone. 2. Do the same with Airline from Florida south to Gonzales. Both roads have wide right of ways for frontage roads all the way. This could eliminate a lot of local traffic at rush hour.
3. Build a loop. For what it's worth our leaders have neglected this beyond the point of no return. Most cities much smaller that BR have a loop. Hell Augusta, Ga. has a loop. How could the politicians that neglect our roads give Lake Charles and Shreveport loops.

My father has Dish and can't get. What channel do you have it on. He is about ready to rip satellite out the ground.
