LSU needs the depth. I’m sure he and Pickett will get plenty of opportunities on Saturday. The Clemson game was a game that required experience and the best players. It was the right decision.

Pickett played half the snaps and was out there on an island in press man on probably 20 of those.

Stamps is a year older than Woodland and has probably 500 more snaps than him, and Woodland was essentially CB2.

Stamps had to have been suspended.

Stamps needs to be moved to safety, imo.

Some of you are acting like he was a bad corner or something, he wasnt bad at all, he just isnt DBU level CB 1st/2nd round type of talent.

Stamps is a solid corner, we just have more talent in the room now with a guy like Delane or Pickett. Woodland also brings a different skillset to the table even if he's on the light side of things.

Stamps will still play corner this year, just not as much as previous years, he could continue to get better and better as well. Delane was a pretty good player but the way he played this past game is basically a new level even for him. Keep in mind he passed up on the draft to come here and already looks like a 1st round corner now. Guys can improve over time.
