Look up a guy that played center for Auburn named Shannon Robique. He graduated from Denham Springs around 1991 and was a big of an LSU fan as you could find and even his mom worked on campus. Curly Hallman sent him a letter that said they couldn't offer him a scholly.
He went on to be 1st team SEC center for 2 years while at Auburn.
It happens.

Curly Hallman should be kicked in the balls every day for his time at LSU.

When you string together a few #1 recruiting classes nationly, some great state and local talent are gonna be left out.

I would go play for Army, serve my five years to Uncle Sam and come back to Baton Rouge to route for the Tigers!

Nine years is a long time to be away from Tiger Stadium. Thank God it was during the Hallman era!
