shite man, Manziel we knew was good, but no one expected him to do what he did in the SEC. And do it twice. And nobody damn sure saw Jameis Winston comin. Just goes to show you how you never know. I just hope Miles lets this kid play.

Just watch the replay, he outplayed Anthony in about every way possible.

When I watched Brandon's film I really wasn't that impressed, I thought he would sit behind AJ and then play his JR year. He made me a believer today.

Kid is almost 6'3". Has the type of arm that throws lasers. And from what y'all are sayin can run with a football like takin it to the house kind of running. That's a high skilled athlete.

Oh, they did. No one thought he would ever play football though. Figured he'd go the baseball route.

His throwing motion and release is awesome... Similar to Rodgers. No he wont be like Aaron Rodgers, nor am I comparing him to Rodgers. Just that his motion and release is similar, especially his release. Just a little flick of the wrist, but the ball comes out on a rope and is getting there quick.

Not just saying that from today either. Been saying that since he was a recruit. His release and arm for a kid that should be a senior in high school is ridiculous.

I like the Rodgers analogy....

Last Summer Camp Harris & Quinn had already developed some nice chemistry has a pitch-catch combo!

i know Harris had more yards and TDs, but his completion percentage was god awful. I didn't see the game, but people may be overreacting to his day.

The completion percentages weren't good, but it really wasn't fair to the quarterbacks. We have a lot of returning depth in the secondary, and no depth returning at wide receiver. Add to that a very vanilla offensive scheme, and no one was getting open. There was a play here and there, and Harris's worst throw was when he missed a wide open receiver (DeSean I think), but most of the completed throws were with db's all over the receivers.

The combination of breaking in a new quarterback, and losing our best receivers is going to make the passing game a real challenge. 4 returning starters on the line and LF coming in will most likely mean a heavy dose of the run.

I'm not sure what to think about those completion percentages.

It means the first string defense is really good, and the second string (not so much).

If you just took only Jennings White team numbers, it's a respectable spring time outing with only the pic 6 being bad. They both were pretty bad against the first team though. They lit up the backups. Debo says his pic was from knowing the play and Kwon says his pic was from breaking fast on a short route.

After seeing and hearing what everybody saw, what the hell! Let him take his lumps if he is really that close. His physical tools are elite and he is very adaptable and gives off that "it" factor. If he can play loose and improve his accuracy over the summer and timing with WRs, let it rip. Jared Goff, Christian Hackenburg, P.J. Walker, Davis Webb, Baker Mayfield, and John O' Korn, all played great as true freshman just last year. If this is going to be a year of inexperience for us, and in the fall neither has gained ground on the other, why not go with the most potential?

LF was not just judged to be the best in La or the south, but the best in the nation. No one knows what the kid will do, but my eyes light up too when I think bout the best HS back in the nation running for LSU.

This fear of LSU running the ball too much when we have the top HS RB in the nation coming in is more that a little strange. imo

True freshman

Harris isn't really a true freshman though. They need to come up with a new term for early enrollees. It's not like he's walking on campus in August. The value of that extra 7 months is huge.

Although AJ threw two picks, that wasn't normal bc the LBs obviously knew the plays and jumped te routes. They weren't bad throws.

I couldn't disagree more. They were both horrible throws.

I haven't seen all the footage and got the exact stats, but based on the stats listed and the footage shown, Harris just looks more confident, and has a more accurate arm.

That was awesome coverage by Paris and an awesome catch in the endzone by Dural. Shows we have the best on both sides. Who knows maybe next time Paris gets the best of that play.

As for the Wisconsin game, our QB's will start out as game managers passing to RB's, short routes to TE's, WR's, etc... and of course we will Run the Ball.
