The return game has been a strength for Ole Miss this year. Ole Miss came to play and they have plenty speed.

We were great at the beginning of the year, on KO's. Now one got passed the 20. Now, they are getting to the 40-50, more often than we'd like. I'd like to know, whats up, as well?

Lets frickin hope that's the case....

But still everytime we would kick off to them, they ran it back to mid field it seems..

I thought I remember one of the announcers stating his 100m time and it was LIGHTENING fast....almost Trindon fast...Maybe Ole Miss's return man is just that good?

Yep! But their kick return formation seemed unusual and difficult to cover properly. The return guy was quick as lightning and no one seemed to ever get a clean shot at him. It was because of the blocking schemes Ole Miss used.

Did anyone notice that Sheppard went in on the last kickoff. He was tired of our special teams getting gashed. True leader.

One rule that should never be violated on penalty of losing your scholarship, your stipend and maybe your life:

If you're a freshman lineman playing up on the kickoff receiving team and a low bouncing kick comes to you, (1)catch the ball and (2)SIT DOWN IMMEDIATELY.

Yeah thier little returner was quick as shite, and I kept hoping Ole Graff would run down an light his arse up one good time....

But they need to fix whatever the problem may be by this weekend.

Don't think so. Linebackers are 100x more athletic in terms of being able to run with the ball than a lineman is.

Besides, not Muncie's fault that he fumbled that. He got fricking lit up. Would not surprise me at all if it had been revealed that he was concussed on that play, or even KO'd.

They just outplayed us. Their punter was the best I have seen in Tiger Stadium in years.

The point is, he isn't a ball carrier. The odds of getting lit up in that situation are about 75%. You've got field position. You've got the lead. You've got time on your side. Do NOT be a hero. Be smart. If he had hung onto the ball he might have gained us another 10 yards from the 35 to the 45. Don't let yourself get hit in that situation. Not even a close call.

Without researching this, I'll ask: was Brandon Taylor on kick coverage? If so, who took his spot?

LSU's kickers were so good they were out kiccking their coverage. It seemed that LSu SP could not get set up in time. Plus stop kicking to #3!! He's good.
