Lau should recruit nothing but 3* players Miles didn't want then. Miles was a horrible recruiter and O is a savant at recruiting

I think Coach O will get an OC that can develop QBs and run an offense that doesn't try to run up the middle of Bama's defensive line.

Isn't that what we did this year?

I don't like O making these kinds of Ofeensive moves before we have an OC inked.

Not a big deal. I give you the current O-Line, all recruited by Miles. Maybe losing some of his recruits is a good thing.

This is why you don't hire someone with Ed Os HC record. It clearly demonstrates that he doesn't have the 'big picture' mentality

He let Pomansky steer him toward a different offense, and Bam! he loses grip on the best QB recruit we've had in a decade

If we go spread offense then its worth losing a fricking highschool kid. Seriously. We should be running and throwing out of the shotgun on 90% of of snaps.

I think the passage of time has smoothed over Brennan's situation.

A few years ago we moved from the 4-3 to the 3-4 and in so doing we switched up recruiting of DTs and started targeting 300 pounders who could occupy offensive lineman and much larger linebackers, as opposed to the bulked up safeties Chief sought. I'm sure in that time there were some recruits who we were after to fit Chief's scheme that no longer fit the new scheme so we backed off.

It may be that this is what is happening to Brennan; but I bet once Kiffin gets here and has a sit down with Brennan he'll stay if they both agree it could work and with Kiffin's history of multiple offenses I think it could work...
