I have received 2 phone calls today from people in the industry. They were asking me if it was true as they are being told it is. This does have some legs to it so it will be interesting to follow.

if they are talking to him it's likely to get his opinion on someone because at his age I can't see him coming out of retirement to deal with NIL and portal

Because his resume is really good.
Personally i dont think itll go very well, but i also think he got way too much criticism here.
He can probably keep south carolina okay. But okay there gets you fired. The transfer portal and recruiting, itll be interesting to see how he adapts to all of that. My guess is itll be a mixed bag, but never elite
