It’s hit and miss mid September. I’d say low 70s to low 80s . It’s not that hot in that stadium

The Blue Marlin is a great spot for quality food downtown, just blocks from campus

The Krewe of Misfits will be there with 6 motor homes. Staying a couple of nights in Savannah, then heading up to Columbia.

Driving in from just west of Charlotte. About a 2 hour drive. Meeting friends from Beaufort SC. Always enjoyed a game or two at the Willie B stadium when I lived in West Columbia. Fans are fun and the atmosphere is great.

Make sure you look up at night if you go to Ashville. You can see the milky way..cool stuff.

I live 90 miles to the north. These people have no idea what heat is - you will be fine.

I took the wife (ex now) and kids in 2008 and had a great time. Drove down from Va. Beach (when I still lived there). The game was in October and a night game, so it was perfect weather. The people in South Carolina are true southern folks and very nice even though we won (of course lol).

Tiny stadium so it’s not a bad idea to get lower of the upper bowl for hundreds less than the lower bowl.

Will be there with my wife and 6 year old daughter. It will be her first LSU Game. We’re staying in the doubletree downtown. Don’t have tickets yet.
