I remember the last time FSU hired an up and coming OC. Worked out pretty well for them.

I think it had more to do with the QB ... look what happened when that QB left.

Hey stupid, so you are saying that Army has a "legit defense" as some sort of reason that your "wizard Briles" couldn't score or move the ball vs Army?

Well, you buffoon, THAT IS EXACTLY THE FUKING POINT!! It is probably the 1st good Defense Briles faced this year and look what happened. 70 POINTS?? LOL!!

I suppose you don't think that Briles would face defenses as strong as Army's
If he was coaching in the SEC? I mean some of you are just brain dead.

How long is our offense going to be young? I hear this every year.
yep, it's just an excuse. Every college team has roster turnover - it's the nature of the game with only 4 years of eilibility and draft eligible after 3 years.

Other teams all over the country managed just fine.

Hey mouth breather,

You ignored the other half that he didn’t have his QB.

But it’s ok. I know youre not firing on all cylinders.

It is irrelevant whether he had "his" QB or not. The point is that all he has ever faced is glorified High School teams in that joke of a conference Houston plays in. You can blame the Houston defense and come up with 1 stupid point after another but Kendall Briles is a legend in your mind not in reality.

If "his" offense is so dependent on 1 player (his QB) then you have to ask was it "his" offense or "his" QB that was responsible for the offensive production against those weak defenses?

Moron.

So starting QB isn’t relevant in scoring points?

QB is the most important player in any offense.

You’re a fricking moron.

“His” offense has been successful at Houston, FAU, and Baylor.

But losing your QB doesn’t help any offense.

Like I said it appears that HIS QB was more important than HIS offensive scheme.

You continue proving my point. Dufus.

No. The stupid "take" is by numbnuts like yourself who are actually impressed by an offensive coordinator rolling up points on Texas Southern, SMU, Tulsa, Tulane, Navy, and losing to Temple and Texas Tech among other light weights.

Then you are critical of an LSU coach who goes 9-3 while playing in the toughest division in college football.
One who has wins over Georgia, Auburn, Mississippi State, and Miami. All of which are much tougher competition than any team Briles faced in his regular season.

Facts are facts and Briles is no great OC based on coaching at Houston, FAU, or in the no defense league of the
Big 12. Perhaps you haven't realized they don't play defense over there.

Dream on.

I am Critical of offensive coordinators who score 24 points vs Arkansas a defense in the 100. Can’t score in regulation 80% of the time, get blanked by Alabama.

Fact is you’re confusing winning games with being a good OC

How are you gonna tell me a a OC that cant average 30 PPG in regulation is a good OC? Not matter who he plays? Any OC can score 0 points vs Bama is very easy. Good OCs probably should score some fricking points.

Don't bother trying to have a common sense with madden idiots.
They think real life football has cheat codes.
