Sound system in the stadium

Just making an observation, something I've noticed as of recently regarding the speakers in tiger being too low a lot of the time. I noticed it a lot when they are playing Callin Baton Rouge. This past weekend for example it sounded so much quieter than usual you couldnt make out the words over the crowd noise. I mean this song should be CRANKED all the way up. It almost seemed to take the thrill out of the experience. Anyone else been noticing this?
(Side note: I've been to almost every home game in the same seats since 2003)

No true surround sound in the stadium. It all comes from the north side scoreboard. It sucks on the south side pretty bad

Most games the speakers have drowned out the crowd and the band. Go sit in proximity to the north side when they blare the piped music bits and you might rethink cranking anything up.
Glad to hear the crowd was louder than piped in music. Tiger Stadium didn't become known as Death Valley because of speakers.

Top few rows in the NEZ are nearly unbearable. It’s hard to believe they paid money to a sound engineer for that debacle.

Supplemental speakers in south end zone are badly needed. Half of the time, you can't make out what is said over PA by Dan Borne or refs.

Sound system? I’m just thrilled the game clock worked

So practically on the field?
Go to the top once when they are playing the piped in and get back to us.

I haven been, early before games when all they play is piped in music. My main issue is playing playing the best songs lower than everything else.

If you knew they were playing Callin' Baton Rouge, the volume was too loud.

I can't believe that someone would actually down vote this. The sound system in Tiger stadium blows.
On a semi-related note, what's with all of the damn ads? They are literally everywhere...even on the ribbon boards and during the player intro videos. It was bad before but it's so much worse now. Naming the new Skyline Club after Louisiana Fish Fry? Ugh!

Another "issue" I have is the announcement of the starters before the band goes on is not at all intimidating and bad arse like it used to be. The graphics on screen are usually out of sync with Dan Borne reading it out.

We sat there once(upper bowl North) and will never do that again!! I agree that it's OK lower, but not up high. The speakers are so loud you are miserable above the band level.
Maybe a new surround system can be installed soon,,, it would drastically help the fan experience.

The worst was during the replay of touchdowns they cut half the screen off to show more adds and you could barely see what was happening. And then on a semi related note to that the ticket fees this year are incredible. Each individual ticket has a $10 "ticket fee" and then a $15 "order charge" on top of that. It's insane.

I remember how excited everybody was when LSU installed the new video board. Then we got into the stadium and saw that half of it is covered with static ads that never go away.
Ads during pre-game, ads into player into video, ads before and after each quarter, ads during replays, ads on the ribbon board during the alma mater (disgusting), and of course the incessant "Hey Tiger fans" by Dan Borne. LSU has officially sold the soul of Tiger Stadium to the corporate dark side.

It's Joe Alleva. Like when his reasoning behind not playing Tulane every other year in New Orleans was all about the financial aspect of it. Yeah, no shite it doesn't make financial sense but they were a rival so we did it anyway. (The real reason we shoudln't go down there every other year is because the game is a beat down and not worth while). But still, in Joe's head, if you can't make a maximum profit on it, then why would you ever do it? He has no concept of traditions and experience and the fact that people don't want to be bombarded from all angles by advertising.
