I think the portal is more of a problem than money.
A player can just leave if a coach says something they don't like, I think many coaches have gotten softer on discipline for things like celebrations.

That definitely has more legs than the money. I am a big advocate of 2 year contracts. I have posted about a few times so I won't go into the details of my opinion unless someone is actually interested in what I have to say

Discipline problems are really head coaching problems.
