If Kelly was still our coach he'd still be playing golf today without a care in the world.

Rutgers would be completely stupid to hire this fool. Look at his history and look at the personal weird stories that surround this character. Rutgers is never going to win anything meaningful in the Big Ten, not in football anyway. They would be better served trying to compete in basketball, which they’ve been able to do from time to time. They could also invest a ton into baseball and make it very popular up there and start a rivalry with schools like Seton hall and Connecticut and Maryland who have also invested in baseball. The Far East schools can compete.

I know. I know. What about Indiana? Indiana has never been a complete dud as they have been to meaningful bowl games over the last three decades. Ruckers to my knowledge may have had one memorable season and that was when Greg was there.

Kelly is not a spring chicken either. What kind of contracting salary would they offer? I would assume five years and 25 to 30,000,000 perhaps? That is absolutely absurd. Brian Kelly is about to be one of the richest man in the country by not doing a whole lot.

I think Brian makes about $27,000 a day from LSU.
