I agree. It puts Paul in a major jam. Wouldn’t shock me if Henry isn’t here next season.

So what happened then, Dawson?

He developed exceptional soreness after 30 pitches?

I don’t know about the exceptional soreness part but it’s pretty apparent he felt something in the 2nd inning so he pulled himself.

Pregame, he stretched, threw his sets, talked game plan with Dunn and went to the game mound. Nothing abnormal in the pre game. That obviously changed during the game.

Wasn’t the rumor earlier in the year Henry sitting out after doctors cleared him? So now today he goes and pitches even though he is feeling off?

Is this supposed to be English?

Thats the same guy that repeatedly asked for a Justin Tv link of an espn broadcast with LSU radio broadcasters like a month ago...

So he might actually be special.

to force a kid out there that’s saying he doesn’t feel good

And Henry wouldn’t go. He already shelved himself many weeks this year. His family did not want him to pitch even though all doctors cleared him. This isn’t surprising.

Honesty, quite a few pitchers seem to be throwing under their usual velocity. Have to wonder if this team is tired.

Yeah, all those innings they’ve thrown, it’s got to be brutal on them

Can you explain the frickery with the Hess

Hess has been an average to below average pitcher for the majority of his time at LSU. He’s not the shutdown guy y’all think he is.

Currently 4-5 with a 4.63 ERA

The results from the pitching staff in recent years has been mediocre.

Not terrible and certainly not great.

With the resources LSU has the production has been unacceptable.

Not to mention the raw upside of these guys when they come in. The arm speed of the staff is phenomenal. That’s where you start but after that we seem to remain flat.

I feel like we haven’t had a starter go 5 innings more than a handful times all year. I miss Poche going out there being a bulldog for 7.

LSU staff is 11th in the SEC in ERA this yearl at 4.66.

Last year they were 13th in the SEC at 4.87.

Unacceptable.

You’re assuming an awful lot.

I’m doubtful Storz ever throws another pitch at LSU. There’s a good shot Labas falls in that category as well.

Yeah. It’s looking more and more like the 2017 postseason was Fool’s Gold where he was concerned. He’s not what we all thought he was.

Some of you people are just plain idiots. You don’t know the kid, don’t know what’s actually going on physically, are way off base on your medical and psych evaluations, and probably have never played baseball much less pitched in your life. Just pure speculation and in general being dumbasses. I’m not going to sit here and act like I know exactly what’s going on, but that’s also the way to handle these things.

Just piling on a 19 year old kid that bleeds purple and gold and turned down a ton of money because he wants to win the College World Series for LSU. Sometimes it gets pretty embarrassing to be an LSU fan with a bunch of you mouth breathers. And before the stupid arse “oh hey Cole” or “hey Mr. Henry” comments, just go frick yourselves.

Get behind this team and these kids and hope they pull together and win the next two so you can enjoy the entertainment and go brag about how good your team is. Y’all are a bunch of paper tigers who don’t know shite.
