See this is exactly where I'm going, I have much more respect for a Bama fan that wants to talk smack about Les Miles, than a WV fan just saying frick you. In the SEC, the latter fan is the exception rather than the rule.

More like a 1/3rd...but if you get another school to come in, why get one that would be mediocre/near the bottom.

Thanks Spank. I'm a pretty avid fan. 
I can see what you mean about the size etc. I guess we will see what happens and how it turns out. I'm hoping our AD does what is best.
I apologize for the fan behavior you have witnessed. If I could, I would invite all of you to my place for a game where that would not happen and logical football talk WOULD happen. I think a lot of the behavior has to do with the rep. that the sudents seem to think we have and the way they feel they are SUPPOSED to act. WVU has done all that they can to drop the image but new WVU students continue to feel they need to live up to it. It could probably best be explained in a psych or soca course.

Head coach. I lost a lot of respect for that dude after that game.
Enjoy your time in your crappy conference.
The SEC has had it's share of dickheads at head coach but no one has ever condoned the booing of injured players.

I don't mean to pile on, and we did encounter a lot of fans (some students) who did enjoy talking football and participating in some friendly smack talk. We even had a bar owner who was so grateful of the treatment he received in Baton Rouge, let us go straight to the front of the line and bought us a round.

Record is 70,000 before we addes luxory boxes. Since we added these luxory boxes we are down to 60,000. However, we set a record Saturday with JUST over 62,000 since we added luxory boxes. Kinda sad that we knocked out that many seats for luxory boxes..but it's $$.

I know saturday was a big game, but if that is any indication of the team following, I think WVU would probably consistently outdraw a good number of the current SEC teams...
now, tv viewing audience may be another story...and unfortunately with lots of SEC games being televised on major networks, that could be a factor...
