That's all your opinion and you're entitled to it.

My point is that he is no longer here so focusing on him now that he has been gone, for years, is kind of ridiculous.

Not trying to tell you what to do or be disrespectful but focus on LSU instead of what Miles is doing. If you want to focus on what Miles is doing, have at it. I'm a huge Miles fan and I've been focusing on what the LSU team has been doing. Not what Miles has been doing.

Enjoy the win from tonight. And look forward to future games.

I think that's fair. Let's not turn this into another Miles vs O thread. Please.

In Les Miles first 3 years from 2005 through 2007 he had compiled a 34-6 record.

2 division titles,1 conference title and a national championship in his first 3 seasons is championship level coaching which is what LSU still strives for today.

There’s absolutely nothing about Les Miles that should have made anyone think he’s the kind of guy who could turn around a complete dumpster fire type program as Kansas. People cite what he did at Ok St, but they were a decent program that had gone through a couple of subpar seasons, when he came in and just made them decent again. And that was when he was actually hungry to prove himself.

Kansas is simply a terrible program (Mangino gave them a glimmer of hope some years back - but that’s all they’ve had in modern history) that by all accounts will remain a terrible program with Miles.

I honestly have no idea why anyone possibly thought it’d be otherwise.

Miles had the most talented LSU teams of all time from 2005-2007 and he bungled all three seasons. He backed into the 2007 championship and everybody knows it. Dude was handed the keys to a Ferrari and drove it like a Volvo.

Best summary I've ever seen of the Miles era.

2011 broke Les and he never recovered.
I hate to say that this statement is true, but it is. A huge part of Les Miles died the night that he wouldn't make changes against Bama and he will forever be remembered for that.

Les made LSU football not fun. He lulled the entire fan base and program asleep to save his job.

Glad he’s moved on.
