Again, what is the skill set? The guy has not shown much on the field.

He has a skill set that Les Miles saw enough of to name him starter before the season started.

NO ONE knows if he improved under Coach Krag since he hasn't taken a snap.

Have some confidence in your coach(es).

Agree completely with you but I'm afraid you
can't reason with haters. They have been in the shadows ready to erupt! Think I'll take a break from reading the rant till after the Kentucky game so I don't get sick reading idiot posts.
Thank God we have Les leading this TEAM. As my daughter would say. WHATEVER!

I don't because the coaches chose to play the wrong QB last year.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I didn't see any reason to second guess Miles. Lee made plenty of mistakes last season too. He threw some very questionable passes, and made some bad decisions, and he certainly was never a running threat. Frankly he was very lucky not to have had some really bad interceptions (because the defender dropped the ball). Neither QB was stellar last year. The view that he would have been substantially more successful as a starter than Jefferson is simply speculative. We didn't have the same opportunity to evaluate both players over the course of all the game prep and practices that Miles and his staff had.

While JL has shown great improvement this year, I don't think you can assume that he would have been better than JJ overall last year. He had some successes, but not enough to persuade me he should be starting.

JJ has his flaws, but I don't think the case has been made that he shouldn't have been starting over JL last year.

This year we have a different QB coach and OC, who are doing a great job of bringing this offense along. I don't think that they are going to screw up what is working. JL is the starter, and as long as the team is moving the ball and controlling the clock, I don't expect you will see a lot of JJ. But I expect that he will get some playing time when his particular skill set can be of use. Hopefully when that happens, he will be able to demonstrate the progress in his play that was reported over the summer.

You cocksuckamuthafricka!!

No, I totally agree. People need to chill. They're such control freaks. If they're so smart, they should have tried to become the LSU coach instead of whatever menial task they presently perform.

You don't know that they chose the wrong person since you've only seen one person play.

JLee doesn't have legs and if you think he can go undefeated, withstand good SEC teams like Bama, you got another thing coming.

Jordan will make a valuable contribution to the team somewhere down the line.

Listen to the Les Miles press conference. It's coming on WWL next.

Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning can't win championships because they don't have the legs.

I believe he can. But I like our chances better with another dimension, even if Lee does the bulk of the heavy lifting.

Having experienced depth at the QB position is IMPERATIVE.

The positives of JJ returning faaaaaaaaar outweigh the negatives.

JJ only adds depth to the most important position on a football team. He is experienced and has lead the team to many wins. It is unfortunate that he has gone through this, but the man will be a better person and teammate if he handles it properly.

Good luck JJ, and

Well don't let us get you down. After all, we are ranters. I agree with most of what you said about JJ. I disagree that JJ should be allowed back on the team today. He needs to resolve his legal dispute and finish his sentence, whatever that might be: a fine or community service or both.

Maybe he can now plead out his simple battery charge to disturbing the peace or some other minor charge and pay a fine or do a little community serivce. I doubt the EBR DA is interested in nailing him to the cross ever since the grand jury refused to indict Downs. Look, DA's control who is on the grand jury and what evidence the grand jury hears. The defendant cannot call any witnesses or produce evidence. So I am not sure why JJ's charges were reduced: lack of evidence or guidance by the DA. Maybe the DA is trying hard to get JJ out of a bad situation and is willing to accept a plea bargain, allowing JJ to return before the end of the season. Heck even if JJ just gets to practice, he could still have a good chance as an NFL walk on.

He should be held to the same standard that T-Bob and Wing and Sam Montgomery were held to for their recent charges. You know, those guys were are much more talented than JJ (well, maybe not T-Bob so much as Wing and Sam M) and are still playing without nary a peep from rantards.
