If you are just considering record then there is no real debate, but seriously, I think Bama has depth issues. Point being the second half meltdowns for lack of a better term. To me Florida at the end of the day showed more team speed on both sides of the ball and could run the tables. Secondly, a case could be made for other teams being #2 but if you're just looking at record then I have no beef.

You are right about the end result though. If you look at just the end result you will see that we only have 1 loss. Its still a long season. Honestly Bama does deserve to be #2 for now. That will change in a few weeks. Moral of the story is dont make a post listing all those facts then turn around and say stats dont matter. Pick a side of the fence.

All I have to say is we better beat Georgia because if we lost to Georgia even if we beat Bama they still likely go to Atlanta...

Both are top ten teams, both have to play each other. Both were overrated when they were number 2 in the county. Only one will come out of Baton Rouge still in the Hunt for a National Championship. Neither one will actually win the NC this year, but that OK we got one last year and we Coonasses are a generous people so we will give somebody else a chance this yaer so as not to appear greeedy in these days of Crazy wild arse wall street types sending us into a recession.

Let 'em have their fun. For God's sakes, it has been a tough last decade in Tuscaloosa. I almost feel sorry for them at times. Almost. When we break our foot off in their arse in a couple of weeks a lot of this nonsense from the Bama fans will cease. Give them their moment in the sun before the eclipse that is LSU brings them back to reality.

I went to a Bama Game and a Auburn game, met a lot of good people, met a few A-holes to. 98% OF Tiger Fans are good people...
