Our fans are the primary fuel for that buzz.

Nah. This is still a top job and our roster is pretty stacked.

Noooo. A sucky product is the fuel. The fans are innocent bystanders....unless you supported O from the begging.

You honestly believe this roster is stacked? If so why is the defense under Aranda so bad? Why does Canada's offense look like shite? How can top coordinators look so terrible? Arandas defense under Ogeron last season was elite so you can't say he's the problem there. What exactly is O doing that's getting in the way of these two guys calling good games? And don't say the team isn't prepared that's isn't a real criticism because you have no way of knowing that.

A lot of the players aren't playing with emotion and the players are completely out of sync on offense. When there's no confidence in the head coach the players aren't going to play hard. Key has already mailed it in this season. Coach O is completely lost out there and is making panic decisions left an right.

The only thing crazier than your post is that you have 13 up votes. Swamp rats are out in force it seems

I agree he's made some horrible panicked decisions and I wouldn't be surprised if he's behind Canada changing his offense back to what he did at Wisconsin instead of what he was so successful with at Pitt. He's also crumbled under the pressure of fans which is about as bad a sign as can be. I don't think Keys problems have anything to do with O though and I'm not going to speak to players confidence because there's no way of really knowing that but I agree with everything els you said.

Also, if it is all coaching, how do you explain the performance of LSU defense led by Aranda?
easy. See the thread I just started about Ogre's August practice approach.

No the practice routines were the same last season we have a lack of personel no matter how much people refuse to believe it. O can still be screwing up and us have a lack of proven talent they're not mutually exclusive. On top of that we've been without our best offensive player our best pass rusher and our two most talented defensive linemen. What we saw Saturday is a combination of things.

Yes. Recruiting top ten for so many years in a row (last year included) says so.

Coaching.

Coaching.

The jury is still out on whether or not they really are "top coordinators".

Lou Tepper's defense was pretty damn good at first too.

Who says he's getting in the way? That was Miles. Not Orgeron.

Orgeron admitted that he had no idea why Nick B. was carrying the ball in the first series. If the head coach has no idea, I would say that's called being unprepared, no? Also...the handling of the qb situation says the same thing. Etling starts and does so/so, bring in Brennan. Brennan throws a pick, bring Etling back in. Horrible. Now neither qb has any type of confidence in the coach.

First having talented freshman doesn't equal a good football team. We have no upperclassmen we lost more than any team in the past 18 years to the draft production wise and lost almost a bunch more to transfers and dismissals between last summer and now. That's like losing two years worth of players in 1 so even if you want to ignore the film those recruiting clases you're talking about aren't here anymore. A stacked roster means we are 2/3 deep at every position and we are nowhere near that not even close to that. And yes we do know Aranda is a great DC he's had the second best defense the past 4/5 years behind only Alabama and he's done it at different places, Canada too has proven over multiple years to be very good so that's out. And no Lou Teppers defense was never good not for a second at LSU dunno where you got that but it's not true. O not knowing the first call doesn't prove that the players weren't ready. Again there's a lot to blame O for but blaming him for things we couldn't possibly know is overkill.

Not an either/or proposition. He can lie AND be incompetent.

Disagree. The entire football practice, August drills, coaching staff, etc. were Les Miles's creation and execution. Pre-season drills and conditioning and the length of those practices, all went into making the team Ogre was handed be successful once Les was taken out of the offensive playcalling by being fired.

Don't equate Ogre as last year's interim HC to this year. Don't even. Frickin' Goebbels followers....
