Or bump it up to the 5th time in 38 years (Skips 5th season). My point is to start with Skip's first year. Do it by coach. That gives a little more perspective.

Which is why you should frame it in a way that does not look like you are shading it in any way.

Here is the reality of LSU baseball. We are framing it with Skip in the equation, but since Skip, 24 seasons if you don't count the COVID season, LSU has won 3 national championships, two under this coach. This will be the 4th time we have missed the playoffs post Skip, which would be once every 6 seasons. Prior to Johnson getting here, we had missed 3 times in 19 seasons, which is just under once every 6 seasons. While I am not happy with the outcome of the season, I am also not particularly disturbed by it. If it happens again next season, I'll be more concerned.
