Actually now that I read the OP I fail to see the insanity the others are describing.

Every point is valid.

There's no doubt the team, coaches still think about that game. It's obvious.

Surely you can't be concerned about the
"Hat" come Nov. 3!

Dude Miles will always be 2nd best in a lot of peoples eyes. No matter how many games we win. So lets go get a coach thats not the second best, cus we arent getting saban back. Im still waiting for this team to sink back to mediocrity like so many predicted. I git an idea, lets go get an unproven coach, we will get there quick.

A big win in the swamp against a good Fla.
team will help! Does Les have another rabbit
under that hat of his. Road to Miami is here.

I think you are mistaken! Remember this was Towson not Bama last Sat. in TS. I guess Fla. will score 44 on us in the swamp. Surely they are twice as good as Towson. You know what you saw last Sat. wasn't LSU football. Although I'm sure you don't want to admit it. As I stated in the post I do support the team and the coaches but the time to be concerned is here! Sometimes the truth
hurts!

So by using your skewed math, how bad should be beat USC and Stanford since we walked all over Washington?

That analogy of yours one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Soooooo, what's your proposed solution(s)? If you were an advisor to Alleva, what would you recommend?

I'm not saying we can't have a great season
but you must admit that last Sat. our team
showed at lack of focus. They beat a good
Washington team but what has happened
since? Yes, we won but we are going into
the sixth game of the season and still making
silly mistakes. Here's hoping Les gets it fixed.
I'm sure he will. Now lets go take down those
gators!

Look, Les isn't going anywhere! He needs
to let his coaches coach. Yes, he is the "Hat"
but insight from his staff never hurts. Hoping
the team that showed up Sat. isn't the same
one going to the swamp!

Cybertiger53- idiot number 1

Lacour - most negative, anti-Miles poster ever and therefore in a league all his own, supreme idiot.

As for the OP.... I have to agree "some fans don't get it" and you are certainly one of them.

We lost a football game on 1/9/12. Our team was outplayed by an excellent team that played BY FAR their best game of the season. It happens. Beyond that it's in the rearview mirror for most rational people. Clearly you assclowns don't get that.

Sorry I wasted my time reading this thread, but felt compelled to comment none-the-less.

Yes, Miles' record looks great on the surface but one has to look deeper in order to find the real truth about this man an his coaching abilities.

I think we had a misunderstanding. I could have sworn you said we should not look at a coach's record to determine how good of a coach he is? There's no way you really said that, is there? What did you really mean?

In all his years at LSU he has yet to hire an OC and actually let the man coach.
The Les Miles offense consists of S.E.C. talent being forced to play a conservative, old school, Big 10, Bo Schembechler style of offense. L.S.U. is just out talenting everybody, not displaying any great offensive coaching exhibition. Doesn't matter if it's Crowton, Krags, Stud or whomever, the offense is being held back by the philosophy of the head coach. Why do you think Miles has never hired an OC with a wide open philosophy that will come in and let it rip? Because few OC's are interested in running the 1970's "Bo O".

BTW, speaking of Stud, this part-time Offensive Coordinator/part-time Offensive Line coach scenario needs a re-think. Can't split coaching time like that and produce maximum effectiveness. Stud needs to be EITHER the OC OR the OL coach. Not both.

Yes, we loss! I'm not down on Les as much
as you think but you must admit sloppy play
against on inferior opponent doesn't help. Now
lets beat the gators!

Shaddup. We all know that alleva is holding miles back from running a wide open high octane offense.
