re: Solicitors on campus are getting out of control....

Last year, my daughter had her phone stolen by a group of youngsters selling candy. My daughter fortunately noticed it right away, we found Campus Security within a couple of minutes, and we found the kids near the Quad. They denied taking anything until my son in law called my daughters number and the phone rang. We were fortunate to notice it right away or the phone would have been lost.

I would caution you to be careful when the groups come thru. I'm sure most are doing it for a good cause, but there will always be someone looking to take advantage of any situation.

People like you will bitch about anything. You should probably take 10-15 minutes and think of all the good things you have going on in your life.

Also, you should buy the next bag of Skittles offered. One, they are tasty as frick, and two, the "solicitors" will probably leave you the frick alone.

The real solution to your problem would be to negotiate with them. Try to convince them to sell you the bag of skittles for less than they paid for it. Trust me, they will never bother you again.
