Kentucky seems to know how easy our bats are against lefties. Throw a lefty with one leg and they shut these girls out. Top of the order had a chance, but well you know.

She played SS if I recall correctly
Not sure how she got defensive awards because her fielding was not good. She was recruited by many good programs because of her bat. She can hit, she unfortunately isn't consistent defensively.
Pleasants was actually the same way. Big time arm, big time hitter, not the best fielder.

Defense isn’t the only problem. Three starters with batting average over 300. Pitching is terrible.

No, but errors have cost us games this year. Coffey and Pleasants, but especially Coffey, have struggled there.
