It’s not Beth’s issue it would be the administration to handle. Moving on to the lineup, there is no reason Edwards is still in the lineup a liability on defense and hitting about .100 in sec play…try someone else !!!

Tori will keep playing as they hope she breaks out of the year long slump, as will Maci.
Posted on 3/29/26 at 3:47 pm to TigerDCC11
They will continue to get nothing from them then…hard to win when the 2 AA are hitting below .150 in sec play. If Edwards executes the easy jr high run down we win 2

You're right... it's not Beth's issue and I never said a word to her about it. She has enough to do as a coach and game management in the seats and concourse is not her responsibility. I dont fault her one bit.
Ushers have told me that since that is just a way to get some spending money in retirement, they don't feel like dealing with him because he says he will call NAACP and calls them racist if they ask for his ticket. One day when asked, he showed them a ticket from a different game.
Just like at baseball CWS, he just shows up and goes where he wants, but hasn't been to a LSU baseball game all year because he knows those hard core baseball season ticket holders won't let him anywhere near the seats behind home plate

I swear that sometimes it seems like LSU bankrolls this asshat because he has primo seats at athletic events, both at home and on the road. He was front and center at the NC game in 2019 and at Clemson last season. Someone needs to call him out and let him know that it’s not racist to ask him to sit in the seat he purchased and not take over someone else’s seat.

He wasn’t in his own seats at the CWS.

I know the LSU Daily News guy is somewhat connected to the coaching staff, (too much info not to be)I would wonder what he would have to say about how Edwards is playing. Edwards hits unlike any other player in the lineup, is constantly late whereas that isn’t an issue with any other player…. If I had to bet I would bet she isn’t the easiest kid to coach. They will have more competition next yr and she might just ride the pine if this continues.

Pickett started at 1st when she missed the McNeese game. Tori's upside is way too high and they're hoping she comes around rather than sitting her. Dropping down in the lineup like Maci will probably happen.

Yall jes hatin.....DeAngelo just bringing energy! Inspiring the team! Good PR!
Posted on 3/29/26 at 5:46 pm to saintsfan22
It should happen, she is a liability, Bergeron isn’t hitting either but at least she is a really good catcher, is there another team in the sec that she would be playing at? No chance

You are not going to like this Handicap. This article makes it seem DeAngelo is the lead recruiter for LSU Softball.

And, this was written last year, not when Shemiah was recruited or played for LSU, so according to this writer - Beth and the girls and even other LSU team players love him.

Probably won’t happen, I remember Emily Griggs being in like an 0-40 something slump and never sat her….. Just an example of how bad our hitting is, the normal leadoff for OU was 0-8 and it brought her average down to .450 and Lassiter was 4-6 and brought her average up to .333…..that’s comedy.

No it shows who has better players, Barker is the closest player to the players we have and she is hitting .311..it ain’t magic, it’s players. Btw, how did LSU out homer big bad OU with all those bad hitters ? You do realize according to the announcers LSU has played the 6th hardest schedule and OU 68th..that means they played like 15 more la tech types…

You know, I promised myself I would never post on here, but when some ignorant fool has something to say about my daughter, well I just couldn't help myself.
If you would like to show us where Emily ever had a streak like that, please show me. Hard to start every game of her entire career, and be a career 300+ hitter, and only hitting below 300 one year..I think it was 280 and have a 0-40 or even close streak. She played every inning of every game, I think ESPN Holly Rowe did a segment about some record of most consecutive innings played. She played with torn rotator cuff, sprained ribs, and you never knew it, she just went out and competed....EVERY game! She hit 9th, 5th, leadoff, 2nd, and her Sr. Year hit 3 or 4th. She never complained 1 time
Yes, I am her dad, and yes very proud and protective But anyone that knows me will tell you I was harder on her than anyone. So yes, I take offense to some keyboard idiot having something just false about her.
LSU, could use a lot more Emily's and her teammates that were there for 4 years.

Great post Mr Griggs! Your kid was coachable, played with passion and competed her tail off…was a joy to watch

One of these has far less resources than the other and all of these were at Tiger Park. So LMAO all you want, you should be LMAO at Beth for getting ran out her own park by a coach and program that should not even be competitive with them.
