Something is not right. She looked horrible for basically the entire OOC slate. Had a very strong period briefly in the middle and is back to doing absolutely nothing the last three or so weeks.

Torina before 2019 was the best coach at LSU and she was virtually untouchable...how the times have changed. I think she's gone in the next couple of years.

CSF took a 2-1 lead over ASU in the 6th. Imagine if we played ASU in the loser bracket

I don’t see any of this development that keeps being mentioned, especially with the pitching.
It’s like the football team with Les, those girls are as good as they’ll ever be at LSU the moment they step on campus.
Sunseri was one of the hottest hitters I’ve ever seen her freshman year and now she’s not even semi-reliable at the plate.
I guess the only question that Woodward needs to answer is…is it time for a clean sweep or does he give her 1 more shot but with massive staff changes?

Looking to the future, the cavalry may be coming, not to dispute some of the statements suggested thus far.
Compliments to 357, next year's class is the best overall ranked class I believe Beth has ever had coming with 3 pitchers nationally ranked #6, #10 & #14. The 3 others are ranked #3, #27 and unranked.
Along with the existing talent, I hope this will improve our team dramatically.

Yep, and feeling the pain in what appears as a downward spiral. But the high rankings for 3 incoming pitchers is an area of need and hope, which we sorely need.

Wickersham was top 15 as well if I remember right. Don’t hold your breath for any pitchers to make an immediate impact, it very rarely happens. Big jump from comp/high school ball to pitching in the SEC.
Better hope that the catching situation is fixed with the freshman as well, but again not holding my breath.

It is always good to have great prospects coming, but if the main problems are coaching and lack of fire and attitude from the team, the lackluster performances will continue..
I’m no softball expert but I believe winning starts with the head coach and coaches, getting the right prospects that want to compete and win, and then developing them.

Need to get some of these San Diego State girls on LSU next year, they are hitting the crap out of the ASU pitcher.
