Now it doesn’t bother me because I’ve always enjoyed the “fun” aspect of NCAA softball, but I thought “props” like phones, goldfish, etc. in the dugout had been disallowed.

Her fielding and handling pitchers has been competent—she’s better behind the plate than what we had last season.
I’ll give her time on her hitting, though I’d hoped she’d make an immediate impact something like another freshman, Jared Jones on the baseball team.
I see her using that “upswing” instead of making solid and long contact with the barrel of the bat. I hope she hasn’t already been Dobson-ized.
