Other than Springfield, I have no clue about that team. (or most teams not named LSU).

Were they supposed to be a potent offense? or were their pitchers supposed to be good?

Oklahoma State has been on the rise as a program under Coach G

They loaded up on a stacked recruiting class and some big transfers this offseason. They are suppose to be pretty damn strong offensively. They lost their big hitter from last year

Show was A&M’s ace the past 2 seasons; she’s a solid pitcher and they have decent pop in the lineup. Benefitted from a few transfers from the SEC including Show and Springfield.

I think the team played very very well today. On the surface, the offense did not preform well because we only scored 3 runs, but I think it was a solid game. We had 11 hits, we just couldn’t knock them in. Last year if I told you Aaliyah Andrews went 0-4, you would think we didn’t score at all. She struggled today at the top of the order and will be much better. The lineup is much more deeper and much “scarier”
I think the lineup should flop Schlattman and S. Sanchez. Then we’d have Doyle-A.Sanchez-Sunseri-Schlattman in the middle which would be very good. We struck out 7 or 8 times which on some high rise balls, but it is early in the season and eyes get big lol. However we put pressure on OSU every inning but one and I’m very proud of that. Last year we hoped for at least two inning where we put pressure on the other team.

I think this would be a good move as well. Schlattman has been hitting the ball hard to start the season.
