Has to be a big confidence booster and relief for Wickersham to get that first one out the way, great start to her career.
Morgan Cummins and Georgia Clark are expected to get to start, either this coming game or tomorrow.

Should I get excited about the offense or has the opposing pitching just been garbage in the first 2 games?

LSU has performed well two games in like they should be against teams like these. These teams just don't have the pitching and hitting like other top programs do.
That said, I do think next week in Florida will speak a lot about where the offense truly is. Ultimately that will tell us way more then anything we do this weekend. I hope the confidence the teams comes away with this weekend can carry over as a big boost as we face some elite programs next weekend.
Can't complain about anything so far, LSU is taking care of business and has run ruled everyone they have played.

The umpire last night behind the plate, and the one tonight, were embarrassingly bad. The girl who started today for Iowa was throwing strikes but the umpire was not calling them. He seemed to favor stuff outside.
That said, still, LSU's pitch selection is much, much better than it was last year. Couldnt ask for more than what we got in those first two games. Very encouraging.
