Oh...I'm not saying just me wasn't bating the usual suspects, just that his point ought to be taken seriously. the fact that the stats as they are are automatically poo pooed because some don;t like them is a bit more telling than the fact that just me was baiting them with them.

Ok. I'll have to stop you here. JJ made some nice passes against WKU to RR, CC, and just out the reach of RS but could have been caught.
The reason I am pro JL more than JJ is just because I find the offense looks more fluid with JL at the helm. Just my opinion.
Running:
Jefferson > Lee
Passing:
Lee > Jefferson

In the 'bama game, if the pass to Shepard is on the money, it's a touchdown.
In the BAMA game, he hit RR in the hands in the end zone, did he not?

How dare you bring facts to the RANT. don't you know our offense sucks with JJ in and that JJ has sucked his entire career? Also, did you not know that Ware, Randle and Shep are better running qbs than JJ is? ( a thread earlier in week actually stated that last sentence) How dare You even try to mention that JJ is decent in any offensive category. He blows

You serious clark? Look Im happy for the guy and hes done well and I have loved our offense this year. Hard nosed smash mouth with play action off of it. My dream offense. Nothing fancy just do it well. But you are kidding yourself if you think Lee is the main reason we are 10-0

Do you honestly believe this?
What about Michael ford?

That is a ridiculously slanted stat based on a small sample of throws would you say?
He went 8-14 1 TD against a shitty team.
However, that's NOT the point.
Did you look at Lee's QB rating. It also went up from 2010 to 2011 by over 30 points. That's the point. Crowton leaves and QB Ratings soar.

This is called a STRAWMAN argument.

Lee is not the sole reason we are 10-0. No doubt. But IMO we are not 10-0 if JJ starts the whole season. JMO

Which game do we lose?

It's a fact that LSU has (to date) had one of the best seasons ever through 10 games. If you don't think Lee has played a big part, then you are kidding yourself.
I love how Lee's accomplishments are sometimes discounted as part of the team while JJ apparently does things by himself.

I don't have an issue with the post, other than the fact I've seen the OP call out statistical cherry pickers, yet he does it every time when discussing JJ, i.e "starting with the Bama game in 2010".

Prior to the alabama game, what about LSU's offense dont you like and why would you want to change?
Second, I liked the offense prior to the Alabama game. I didn't say Jeffeson SHOULD start.
However, Miles sees the QBs everyday in practice. Miles knows more than me.
So, IF Miles chooses to start Jefferson, there are perfectly rational reasons for it.

Lee has done a tremendous job I wasnt saying that he hasnt. I just dont think you can attribute our being 10-0 as mainly being to him as the poster I responded to said. I think were are 10-0 because 1. defense 2. running game 3. Lee.

Nothing. I am on record saying this many times.

it's worthless to discuss statistics with people who have no understanbing of them.

But there's a point to be made there if people would drop their defenses for a second. Everyone wants to tar JJ with past poor performances, and I understand that. But what the stats show is that since that point, he's been REALLY effective. Isn't the fact that he's been effective under center for a significant amount of recent time more important than what he did at the beginning of last season?
Is his poor performance against a team in October of 2010 going to cost us a game in November of 2011 somehow?

Same here. We both have said this multiple times when asked in these types of threads. TIGRLEE should know this already.

Why do you include some 2010 JJ stats and not others?

Im gonna state the obvious...can we at least take into account who we played?
We only scored 35 against a shittier team in Kentucky.
