a couple of not so far fetched things that could happen....

TTech loses to OU, Texas finishes high enuff to go to big 12 title game and loses to missou....

Bama loses to Fla in seccg or even worse Bama gets upset by Aubby then knocks off fla in Sec title game

Oregon St wins pac 10......

who ends up in bcs title game with the "unwritten" rule of no conf title no bcs title berth?

would this allow Boise or utah to sneak in in one of the spots?

penn St.?

or will they break the unwritten rule and allow OU in??

does bama get a LSU 2nd chance? or say Bama beats aubby loses a last second thriller to Fla....... do they let 2 sec teams rematch?? or say fsu upsets fla but then beats undefeated Bama in a close one do they give bama a "Oklahoma" 2nd chance?

none of this is tooooooo far fetched....

I went through all this last year and am still exhausted from it. This year, I quite frankly don't care that much.

Florida already won the ship. mark it down now, and they'll do it beating every team in their way easily..........look at the way their beating teams. Beating a top ranked spurrier defense by 50?? Florida will go down as one of the best college football teams of all time. It just goes to show the nation how hard it is to go undefeated in the SEC! and if Tebow returns, thier gonna win it next year too.

There is no way they break the unwritten rule.

Right on Mo. Bama is going to get crucified by the Gators.

TT knocks of Oklahoma. Book it. Harrell is some qb. Totally different than Tebow.

Ohio St couldn't beat any team in the top 5, nor could Penn St. We have seen what Ohio St can do against the SEC the last couple of years. Lots of over rated, corn fed, slow, line backers. Waaay over rated.

If all of that happens, then they find a way to put USC in (regardless of the way Oregon St. finishes).

agree about this year. But in college ball, you never know what your team is going to be like, even if you return a lot of players. Florida has team chemistry this year out the wazoo, like we had for our championship seasons, and even moreso. They will be loaded with talent again next year, but just might not have that chemistry again.

your right rivers. I hope TT wins against OU. im very anxious to see how well a speedy florida secondary plays against the Graham Harrell pass attack. Harrell and Crabtree vs Tebow and Harvin/Demps/Rainey/Moody/Spikes/and the rest of their track team........

Don't knock the BCS. Because of the BCS we have 2 crystal balls and 2 more NC's!

What unwritten rule? We played Okla when they weren't the conference champ and before that Nebraska made it.

LSU is out, So I will be pulling for Texas Tech this weekend as a College Football Fan. What better matchup in the big game than Texas Tech vs Flordia with what they both have done this year. Early prediction MNC Game Tx Tech 61 Flordia 58..... 6 + 5 = 7

The dream matchup would be USC v FLA. But, if Oregon State runs the table the argument of not winning your conference championship will have something to bear on the equation.

Yes, I hope the BCS gets all screwed up this season. The more times that happens, the closer we get to a playoff. As sad as it is, more teams need to keep getting left out just like Auburn.
