so who do you want Stony Brook or UCF
If you asked me if I'd take a 2/3 series against EITHER to go to Omaha, I'd take it every fricking day every day.
Can't really ask for a better draw.
Just gotta keep the bats alive and more consistent.

Stony Brook would not be able to handle the Box in the postseason. I cant believe people would rather play UCF

stony brook could surprise us, and they have a under 3 ERA and over 333 BA on the season SCARY, but playing in a mid major conference their BA and ERA will be skewed.
UCF on the other hand has a 290 BA and 3.46 ERA
one more thing opponet BA vs Stony is .239 and opponent ERA is 6, is it the team or the conference I personally think the conference but who knows.
also Stony is the only team from their conference to make the tournament.
the CUSA had two make the tourney, and one who was a last one out type team.
I change my mind to UCF

Neither team will be able to handle the Box....
It doesn't matter.
It would be a miracle for a team to take two from LSU.
LSU to Omaha where we belong.

Eh probably UCF.
Give me the okay middle of the road team over the meh team playing way over their heads.

The super regional is double elimination, right?

The State University of New York at Stony Brook, known as Stony Brook University, is a public research university located in Stony Brook, in the U.S. state of New York, on the North Shore of Long Island, about 50 miles (80 km) east of Manhattan.[4] Founded in 1957 and located at its present site since 1962, Stony Brook University is one of the four university centers and is considered a flagship institution of the State University of New York.[5][6] The main campus is home to more than 24,500 students,[7] and 138,560 alumni.[8] The University is organized by schools and colleges, including the Medical, Dental, Nursing, and Graduate School, and several branch campuses including Stony Brook Manhattan, whose operations were consolidated in 2010,[9] and Stony Brook Southampton, whose operations were reduced to the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences and the MFA Program in Writing and Literature also in 2010.[10][11] Stony Brook is one of 61 leading research universities in the U.S and joined the American Association of Universities (AAU) in 2001. UCF is a warm weather school that plays a tough schedule and in a decent conference.
Stony Brook is a cold weather school, doesn't play anyone. They have never seen anything like the box.
no brainer.

Double elimination is a damn stupid way of saying it, though.

also got swept by tulame,

Actually...it's the team that wins 2 first.

Posted on 6/3/12 at 10:53 pm to Lester Earl
but I think we beat either team, maybe loose game 1 because they have a dominate pitcher but at box baring us saying that's baseball we go to omaha.

no, they swept Tulane. and beat them again in the CUSA tournament for good measure.

right. usually means it's a tournament format. in this case its only 2 teams. Best of 3.

I must be confusing it with another CUSA team NM
