Nothing is for certain until the SEC Network is up and running and we actually see how it will work. I would assume that the big football games will still be on broadcast tv just like always.

The SEC Network will have it's own internet streaming channel that will be independent of ESPN3. So will games on the SEC network be simulcast on ESPN3? I would doubt it else why have a separate SEC streaming channel in the first place. So you will probably still have to subscribe to the SEC network through your ISP if they carry it.

How many non major LSU football, baseball and basketball games will be carried either on broadcast tv or the internet streaming channel by the SEC Network remains to be seen. Will there still be some ESPN3 games independent of the Network? Who knows? Whole new ball game as the statement goes.

My stream went from clear to so blurry I couldn't see the baseball for much of the middle and end of the game.

I have Comcast cable/internets fastest speed available to me. What a shitty way to have to watch a game. I long for a fricking TV quality picture.

This has been a poor preview if the SEC Net is going to be like this...God, I hope not.

Same here. I'm running off Eatel, which is a single mode fiber to the house. My network is gigabit.

Bandwidth/speed not a problem here. That was on ESPN's side.

ESPN needs to give local rights on games they are not going to televise to local broadcasting groups and stream the game for users outside of the area. ESPN 3 should only be resorted to by people who don't live within the geographic area of the school / fanbase.

As I have said on previous posts, I have found it to be about 30% of the time that you get the blurry picture or frequent pauses and reloads. Why does it work good sometimes and not others? I have yet to see any pattern. Perhaps a technical expert can explain it. But I agree, broadcast tv is currently much more of an enjoyable way to see a game. Now if my choice is streaming or nothing then streaming is much better.
