So what's everyone's honest opinion on Zach Mettenberger......

Me and my brother went to the spring game and the dude seems to have a cannon and accuracy to go with it.
Anyone see any problems that may arise?
Also we went to Dallas for the opener. I dislike the cowboys but their stadium was awesome.

He doesn't have to be great to be a big improvement over what we had. In the limited action he had this year he looked pretty good.

The speed of the game is something he'll have to adjust to. But at any rate, it will be an upgrade over JJ.

He competed with Aaron Murray for the starting job, he's very good.

Les will probably find a way to frick him up.
He's already looking for the next JJ.
For offense for the entire season, I believe we were 70% rush, 30% pass.
Les miles is the OC of LSU so you have to consider that as well.

We will now see what a real offense can do.
You thought our running game was good before, wait until the defense actually has to respect the passing game. From Kiki Mingo himself "Kenny Hilliard could win the Heisman before he is done".
You thought OBjr is a talent, wait until he gets a Qb who can actually hit him in stride, this guy may draw Josh Reed comparisions.
Prepare for the pass-catching TE to return to the LSU offensive scheme, which adds so much flexibility to our offense.
The future is bright for LSU. Assuming we can step back from the ledge many are currently perched on..

My opinion is that if he's not worlds better than JL/JJ then I'm going to jump off of a cliff onto jagged rocks off of the Northern California coast
