I do not think he is a 1st or 2nd rounder...possibly top 5 round...anything farther down than that he should come back...top 5 rounds he is gone

Why would he?
money
he has another year of leverage if teams try and take him and low ball him he can come back and if he make another step like this who knows.
shite if he takes another step like this maybe he’s Charlie Cordon

My God, if Bear returns it would be huge. The end of the year showed that he has the eye of a lead off hitter with the power of a clean up. His 1 year improvement is so impressive. If we have someone to protect him next year he will hit 30 HR.

Right now undoubtedly the biggest question of the off-season.
Unfortunately, I don't think there's much of a question. The guy ended up being our best hitter...and the guy that was the best hitter is surefire first rounder.

Dude will be a 1st-2nd rd pick next year and make more money should he stay. He has leverage big time

I mean he hit 29 this year

Exactly, who wants to go sit in Single A for a year. Come back again and mash, get paid even more.

6’5”, 250, with a ton of upside…he gone!

Safe to assume Bear, Herring are gone
I hope Braswell will.come back but he may have just played himself.into a top 5 round pick, which as a junior he can't pass up.IMO

I think Bear and Herring will both be back. Both have the ability to make millions if they replicate what they did this year. There wasn’t enough draft hype for either of them going into the season.

If he is smart, he will not return because lsu's offense is trash.
Yeah why would he want another year of tutelage under CJJ and Cheif... 2 of the best hitting coaches in the game
I think he's gone but that was an absolute clown take

Exactly, come back a find a position other than first or improve there.

I dont think that’s safe to assume.
both could play their way into the first round next year and aren’t first rounders right now.

He will be at minimum a 3rd round pick. Gone Pecan!

If they're top 5, they need to go IMO. Especially Herring being a pitcher.
Maybe we could convince Bear to come back with a lucrative NIL but I just have a feeling he gone.
Maybe Jay annoints Herring the Friday night starter and Yeske the lefty whisperer can talk him into staying.
Tell ya what it's like when Faneca and Faulk were both considering going pro. Faneca went and Faulk.came back. Maybe we can get one of them

With todays NIL I am not going to worry ONE BIT until I actually see them run onto the field in the very first game next year. It probably wont happen but it wouldn’t surprise me to see 9-12 completely different starters. That’s one of the reasons I’m not coaching college. Well, there are 25-30 good reasons but that one is at the bottom. ??????
