I would say run a little no huddle, but we can't even be organized out of timeout, much less one play right after another.

Why would he. Beating our offense is pretty damn simple. Stack the box when Jefferson is in the game and blitz like a mad man when Lee is in the game.

We aren't creative enough to do anything diffrent. Hell, we don't even change up our rotation, Jefferson the first two series, then Lee and then a series by series rotation. Then when we call a time out the players will be all confused and we will throw a pic or have a delay of game.

I hate this offensive gameplan we keep forcing on the players.

For whatever reason, Crowton's offense has had success against Saban's defense. Even last year, the offense was having some success until Jefferson and Scott/Williams were injured.

2009 - 253 yds of offense against best defense in nation with second/third and fourth stringers at key positions.

2008 - 382 yards of offense

2007 - 475 yards of offense

There's some glimmer of hope.

RS in the wildcat for starters. Alternate between him and Lee and let Lee throw downfield.

Play RS and PP in wildcat and see what happens. Maybe it wont work but it cant be any worse.

At least this would come out of left field and negate alot of what Bama prepared for.

If PP is a threat to take it all the way anytime he touches the ball, let him touch it every play.

Actually, when the coaches get out of his way, JLee has run the no huddle/2 minute offense pretty well. It's when they get too concerned with personnel than just playing football that we run into problems

Stay in two back set and keep a tight end for max protection, forget the spread crap.

Load the Alabama pre-game meal with lots and lots of laxatives. They cannot be in two places at once. It's our only hope!

Plan B: Someone accidently turn the sprinklers on about 2:00 am Saturday morning. It worked many years ago against Ole Miss.

how do you combat this if you're Miles or Crowton?

There is only one way - throw the ball, and not for 3 yards or bubble screens. Vertical passing game will then set up the run. Problem is we don't have a vertical passing game so I expect it to be a very long day.

The decision will be Miles.Miles should turn over the offensive game planning and play calling to someone other than Crowton.Turn over the O-Line duties and coaching and selection of O-Line starters to Wilkerson. Stud and Crowton have proven they can't get the job done. The only slight improvement has been with the O-Line which I attribute mostly to the work that Ben Wilkerson has done with the O-Line.The bye week is the time to make the change. Talk about screwing up Saban's mind, that change would do it.
