I will agree that 87 pitches in just 3.2 innings is....not great. Especially against a very bad Mizzou team.

Certainly not ideal. We probably need at least one of them to go 6 or so innings. If/when the offense goes on a cold streak, it could definitely be a problem. Luckily we haven’t had to worry about that much outside of the Omaha series

News flash. Mizzou can hit. Pitching,……not as good. Averaged over .300 as a team coming in. They also have some talent.

Did he say something that’s untrue? Some of you are so fragile . Maybe Missouri is better than expected or better than what they have looked like so far this season, but it’s a fact that 2 of our starting pitchers got chased early. Why does that trigger you to hear that? Do you rock back and forth and pretend things didn’t happen? Shores and AE hopefully step up.

We’re sweeping the worst team in the league which is great. But don’t be here next week if Eyanson and/or Shores get roughed up in Austin wondering wtf happened.
I’m hopeful Yeskie gets them together but that’s a lot to put on our pen this early in the year
