They’re struggling even worse than the basketball team

Tons of talent

Not true. This is a decent team that has no pro players and no post players. A very unbalanced roster that he’s gotten a lot out of.

Lemme guess you are a diehard baseball fan and don't realize LSU being a top 15 basketball program annually is 10x better than being a baseball powerhouse

We’ve had 7 20 win seasons since 1991 where we were a constant 20 win team. 20 wins back to back and a better recruiting class next year and could be even better. They are relevant.

Go back and watch his first team. And last year and this year. All his teams fight. This year seems disappointing but in reality a good year. Next year I suspect a better year. All his teams fight and never quit.

Well for one they aren’t a winless or one win cellar dweller. This team most certainly over achieved starting 8-0 (mind you a lot of those games could have gone the other way.) Who remembers Johnny Jones and that pathetic excuse for a basketball team. I damn sure do. It’s fun to turn the games on and see a team that has a chance to win almost every game they play in. (Without a guy over 6’9) The Manning injury kills this team. Wade was suspended almost the entire previous recruiting cycle. He has a class coming in that will instantly make us top three if not top two in conference. Win the last home game and get in the dance. We don’t know if this a one and done tournament team or could they get hot and win a few. Either way they are relevant because there is a damn post asking if this team is relevant. Just a few years back we all would be ignoring basketball and taking in baseball. Times are changing quickly and this team deserves our support.

When you get a chance, walk 20-25 feet off of LSU's campus, and notice how few people give a FLYING RAT'S arse about college baseball. You won't find a hell of a lot.

Losers- We are 20-10 with a min of 3 games to play. We are NCAA Tourny bound with mediocre players. He lost more than half his recruits after the BS last year.

No, I sound like I'm preaching the gospel truth. College baseball is an afterthought at 98% of the schools in America. I'm happy when we win in baseball, but it doesn't mean jack-and baseball, along with the other minor and girls sports, shouldn't take a nickel in funding away from fb and men's basketball.

LSU Basketball is relevant because I am an LSU fan. It doesn't matter what sport LSU is playing I am going to be in their corner. I'm not sure where most of the Will Wade hate comes from, but I want to believe the majority comes from trolls or people who watched their first LSU Basketball games last year. I know there are plenty of the high moral compass types who are looking for any reason to bash Wade because of the "Strong arse Offer" BS, but grow up this is big business. If you believe all the money flying around encroaches on the integrity of college athletics maybe you should find you way to the local high school on Friday's in the fall and twice a week during BB season. Outside of that there is no reason to bitch about Wade. I remember as a young lad not having to worry if LSU was going to make the Big Dance, things are trending that way again and I like it.
