Wow...you're deluded but coherent points have devolved quite quickly.

Is your confidence a bit shaken? It should be.

I don't think it was as lopsided as lots are making it out to be. It is so frustrating to watch a game that COULD and SHOULD have gone another way. MSU did dominate the 3rd, and defense was tanked in the 4th, but I think we stayed in the game most of the time and kept fighting.

4 things sucked that any on of could have changed the outcome.

1. Not scoring from 1st and 2. WOW!!! This would have changed the momentum and the game, period.

2. Going for a TD on 4th and 2. WOW!!! Should have burned a time out to think about that one a bit more.

3. Two 3rd and longs and the defense gives up a score from across the midfield!! WOW!!!

4. Missing TWO 2 pt conversions. 4 pts would have been nice, but 2 points would have been a 3 pt game at the end, although it probably wouldn't have mattered.

You don't think it was so lopsided? Mississippi state imposed their will on LSU in Death Valley last night my friend.

so we lose to MSU which means we will never win a another NC under Miles? Did a certain coach that some of you love lose to ULM and win a couple NCs after that?

If you think this started last night you are delusional.

Like! I posted same thread title in Scoreboard this morning. Great to see the team play hard until the end. Miss. State is for REAL! Give them their props. Playing lights out in 4th qtr and making game respectable could be an omen towards end of season. Great post!

Yeah, I liked his clock management strategy at the end of the first half. Top notch.

We were inches within the greatest comeback in college history. There was no quit in those tigers. They played with their hearts all night until the very last whistle. I've never been prouder of an LSU team and I was last night.

Going for two is the right decision there. Are you morons know nothing about football. And why are you criticizing taking a timeout before half? He was wearing down the Mississippi State defense and allowing his coaches to get to the locker room. The clock management was great last night. We almost made the best comeback in history.

This is what we call 'whistling past the graveyard'

inches away from winning = a loss

Not saying that going for the TD was WRONG...just saying they needed a few more seconds to think about the play call and to make dang sure that EVERYONE on the team new the play call to get AJ into the endzone. As it was, those 4 plays went bam, bam, bam, and then ONE MORE HURRY up and BAM. They need to slow down that last one. That is all I am saying. We should have had that TD...and that changes the game!

Sorry if you can't see a bunch of chest tigers, most of them 18 or 19 years old, fighting until the very last play. Nearly completing one of the greatest comebacks in college history. Last night was a defining moment for the Tigers and we will grow from there. And we will win a national championship

bro if you're not careful you're gonna be one of those crazy old filthy homeless dudes on the street, endlessly muttering this phrase

accept reality. the "comeback", while fun and encouraging to see for the sake of harris and dupre, was meaningless.

Making mathematical calculations about 1 vs 2 is not in dispute. I am disputing the call based on the chance of getting the 2. Two quarters of play, and not scoring from 1st and 2 should have been a clue!
