I love it. For a ton of reasons
1) it's on my birthday. No real reason. But yes.
2) I like the "resurgence" of this rivalry. A lot of people on this board think of Ole Miss as insignificant, and while they hit some off years, my first football game was LSU v Ole Miss in 03. With Ole Miss actually coming back to a little bit of prominence lately it's been interesting.
3) Adds a little meaning to homecoming with a decent game.
4) bringing back the feeling of the Halloween type theme from the 50s and 60s

Will this have any impact on the kickoff time? Hopefully it will help make it be a night game

Samhain aint celebrated in the daylight.

I'm sure the S.E.C. office and C.B.S. are already making plans to move the game to 2:30 and there will be nary a peep of protest out of Snow Peas Jeaux.

I don't like it that the last home game is so early in Nov. (Ala - Sr day - Nov 8th). I know it is just the way the schedule worked out but I don't like it.
